CozyWolf Studio
Hi, I'm Johannes. I studied early childhood education, and under CozyWolf I develop games, quiz formats and learning projects.
For free quiz nights in and around Hamburg. Play along and help me develop the format.
What I offer
For your friends, celebration or team: I bring the projector, sound and hosting. You solve questions together, with just one phone per team. We agree the right format beforehand.
CozyWolf is just getting started. I’m looking for groups in and around Hamburg for the first quiz nights. See the test offer and quiz demo →

For small and mid-sized groups
Answer questions, capture tiles and take territory from other teams. CozyQuiz combines knowledge with game tactics.

For larger groups
Every table joins in. Your teams compete in factions and follow the shared race on the big screen.
The idea behind it
I love the moment people try something themselves and see that their choice changes what happens next. An answer captures a tile, a wild guess sparks laughter, and children help shape the rules. That is how quiz nights, browser games and projects for school take shape.

School project · Course, years 3 and 4
Eight mechs, two worlds and a real die on the table. In the game design course in year 3 the children solve the tasks together on the touch board; in the year 4 enrichment course they spend their strength points themselves and invent their own actions. Running in the course, tested with children.

School project · Game design
Play. Question the rules. Create together.
I am developing Weltenkompass for a course I teach at a school: a cooperative adventure that introduces children to the basics of game design. They help choose key rules and discover how their decisions affect the game as they play together. A purpose-built app supports the course alongside dice, character sheets and equipment cards.

Anlaut-Abenteuer is a learning app I developed for use in school. Children listen to German words, discover their initial sounds and match pictures to the corresponding letters. Original illustrations, spoken prompts and short practice rounds support their first steps with sounds and letters.
More about the project (German)Behind the projects

CozyWolf started with quiz nights for friends and family, built with presentation software. At some point my ideas no longer fitted into it, so I wrote my own app for them. Since then CozyWolf has been the home for all my ideas: a card game, a party guessing game, an app for quiz nights, media education content for primary school. How do I know whether something works? Only once a group plays it: which rule I have to explain three times, where it goes quiet, where people laugh.
What now?
The first nights in and around Hamburg are free. I bring the projector, sound and hosting; you need a free wall and one phone per team.
